Production Management Intern

Job Purpose: To gain real world experience in the successful manufacturing of food products
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Gain exposure to the job responsibilities of a full-time Production Supervisor
  • Review production processes against the current Process Specification Summary
  • Assist Production Supervisors with information gathering to optimize performance
  • Document job descriptions for key positions, identifying major accountabilities
  • Assist with the supervision of a staff of approximately 15-30 employees
  • The position is very hands-on - supervisors are usually in the production area “on-their-feet” about 80% of the shift
 
Requirements:
 
  • Must graduate in December 2022, May 2023, or August 2023 and major in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Management, Operations, Industrial Management, or related field with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership, persuasive, initiative, analytical, and communication skills are necessary for success in this position
  • Possess a strong work ethic and an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
  • Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa
 
Location and Hours:
 
  • Location possibilities include Atlanta, GA, Austin, MN, Beloit, WI, Dubuque, IA, Osceola, IA or Rochelle, IL
  • Location is based on business needs at the time an offer is made
  • Position is full time, 40 hours per week beginning late May and ending mid-August
